Over the course of six months we expect Interns to gain all-round understanding of the M&A and capital raising process, deliver top class corporate finance advice and work across verticals within the broader Healthcare economy. During the first month, we run a comprehensive in-house training programme alongside on the job learning. You will be an integral part of a deal team and can expect immediate exposure to live deals, Partners and clients.

Duties include supporting new and active investment banking engagements, notably:

  • Preparing, analysing and explaining historical and projected financial information
  • Coordinating and performing business due diligence
  • Preparing confidential, information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations
  • Valuating companies and businesses
  • Assisting in the marketing and planning of engagements
  • Mapping and sourcing companies

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous Internship experience in a M&A or financial services related role essential
  • Capacity to adapt into the small mid-market environment
  • Willingness to dive into the Healthcare universe
  • Outstanding academic track-record, including first / 2:1 degree in all disciplines .
  • Strong analytical, accounting and numerical skills , sound judgement.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, working in a team under tight deadlines
  • A strong drive to progress as an M&A banker with a genuine interest in the Healthcare economy
  • Fluent written and spoken French & English essential (other language skills desirable)

Position: M&A Analyst
Start Date: flexible date
Contract: Permanent contract (full-time)
Location: Paris

Duties
You will support our teams on M&A and Financing transactions from the very first day, conduct
market and competitor analysis and help the teams to pitch and acquire new and challenging
mandates. Preparing company valuations based on analysis as well as preparing target and investor
lists is also part of your daily routine. Working in an international, open minded, diverse and thoughtful environment you will contribute to achieve and become the best for the benefits of our clients.

Required Experience and Skills

  • You have a strong academical background with a Bachelor or Masters degree and ideally
    gained first international experience
  • Healthcare background is a plus but not compulsory
  • You are an entrepreneurial and independent individual with demonstrated analytical and
    commercial thinking, excellent communication and intercultural skills and finance proficiency
  • You have prior M&A experience at Investment Banks, Private Equity or Venture Capital funds
    and you are interested in healthcare and technology based transactions
  • You can handle pressure and work under tight deadlines, you are curious and analytical, you
    are a team player and like exposure to senior management
  • Written and spoken proficiency in English and French is a must, German or other language a
    plus

Duties

  • Carrying out of research and analysis work on investment managers, funds, and investors
  • Carrying out Healthcare sector research and analysis work
  • Screening fund managers
  • Prepare LP and GP databases
  • Assist in preparing fund marketing materials, presentations, etc.


Required Experience and Skills

  • Knowledge and enthusiasm for private equity and investment management
  • Excellent written and verbal English/French communications skills essential. Other languages are a plus
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office software programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • A minimum of three years of experience in an institutional fundraising/ sales role with a well-regarded institution
  • Ability to execute a majority of the sale process on your own
  • Solid understanding of the institutional marketing process
